Real Life Heroes

In movies there were so many heroes. There’s the famous Superman, The Incredible Hulk, The very fast Flash, Batman the Dark Knight and others. But in real life they really don’t exist.
We all have our own heroes who are helping us in our daily lives. Some of us make their friends as their hero, and others they say that their hero is their loved ones. But, for me, my heroes are my teachers and the best of all my heroes are my parents. I consider my teachers as my heroes because they’re the one who always giving us knowledge when we are in school. They are also the one who lead us to make our life better. But the most important hero in our life is our parents. They took care of us even when we were still a baby, until we learned to talk, walk and run. Even now, that we are already in higher level in school, they are still taking care of us and leading us to learn how to survive even without them, in short they’re teaching us to become independent.
But even if we have different heroes in life, we must still treasure those good things they taught to us. We must not also forget them for they are our REAL LIFE HEROES.

PNoy and his SONA

This last July 25, 2011, Pnoy delivered his SONA to millions of people here in the Philippines.
For me, he can be as good as the best President in this country. But for others, they say that he is not making a move to make the Philippines rise from the last administration. But I know that he’s just preparing all the things he needed to start and to be sure that what all he had planned will be successful.
But, in the other hand, I also thought that PNoy was just taking cover for those big problems in our country because he uncovered some of the dirt of some of the person in his administration like the budget spent for the coffee in PAGCOR. I think he just uncovered this dirt to cover the fact that we have more serious problems in our country than that one.
But we still have to wait for more things and if he can make our country rise again.

Breastfeeding: A Priceless and more Nutritious Way

Many years before, powdered milk was introduced as a substitute for breast milk. The nutrients on those powdered milks are just enough for the daily needs of babies but breast milk is still more nutritious than those powdered milks that are just substitute for breast milk. Many findings show that babies who grow taking breast milk are healthier than those who take substitute milks.
Why do parents who are buying substitute milks can’t realize that those milks are so expensive compared to breast milk which is free? They also can’t realize that breast milk is more nutritious than substitute milks. Even doctors recommend parents to give breast milk to their babies.
So, why don’t parents give breast milk to babies? It is more nutritious, cheaper than other milks.

Dear PNoy,

Good day to you Mr. President. We all know that they voted for you because they know that you are the right one to become the new President in this country. They believed in you. But now, here we are still waiting for the promises you made before.
I hope you still remember us students. You must improve the quality of learning here in the Philippines because I think that the quality of education in our country is already too low compared to the other countries. We also have problems in school like lack of classrooms and lazy/not good teachers.
Don’t also forget those jobless people. I hope you’ll give them their right jobs so that the rate of poor people in this country will be lowered. I also hope that you’ll increase their wages.
We also want you to stop illegal mining and illegal logging in the whole country. I believe that you can instantly stop those things because you are the President in this country and you have the power to protect our natural resources. Thanks for your time Mr. President and that’s all I want to say to you.
